About One Hastings Many Voices

One Hastings Many Voices – A Community Musical Journey is a one-year project funded by an Awards For All Lottery Grant.  The award, will be used to support musicians; teaching them to write, sing and perform.

The project starts in September 2017 in the Central St Leonards Area of St Leonards.

The project is hosted by the Greek Orthodox Church of St Mary Magdalene and the originators are grateful for the support and expertise the Churchs’ team will bring to the journey. On

One Hastings, Many Voices (OHMV) will be looking for musicians,  singers, and dancers from all sections of our community. In addition, will be training a small group of stewards with the skills to support medium and large musical events for the future.

  • performing to an audience
  • song writing skills

Anyone who attends the workshop will be asked to perform at one of two celebratory shows to be held in 2018 to showcase the talents of the OHMV performers.

There will be a CD of OHMV performers original songs available to buy or download in 2018
